In “Divided” Amy Karle is several girls and one girl simultaneously, trapped in states of play, death, and play in death. The performance plays with the object/subject dissolve: death as the experience of the sublime; depicting an ego which is simultaneously surrendered and embraced to glance bliss and understand its’ ultimate place within the universe.
